What does it all mean:

However this original meaning is controversial.  The more accepted origin indicates the meaning is derived from. “Kariio oka” which comes from the indigenous Tupi “House of Carijo” which was Guarani, a native tribe of Rio de Janeiro who lived in the vicinity of the Carioca river. It is a still prevalent accent distinct to Rio and used across TV Globo, the second largest television network in the world, headquartered in Rio.  Capoeira – a type of of Brazilian martial arts. 8- Rio is home to the 8th largest Library in the world.  O – Rio hosted one of the more recent Summer Olympics, in 2016.  O- for the two 2 Michelin star restaurants in Rio; Oteque and Oro. p – Pelé, celebrated and ledgendary soccer star P-Portugese is spoken.  O-Oscar Niemeyer was born in Rio, he is the man behind modern architecture of Brasilia and Rio: Sambadrome Marques de Sapucai the MAC, and Gustavo Capanema Palace to name a few.
