Stitches, Volume 1, is the first of four of the stitch reference books, this edition being compiled by Ruth Schmuff and Kathy Holicky. There are over 300 stitch diagrams organized by stitch type, such as diagonal, straight, cross and tied, and that’s just the beginning. Within each group of stitches they are listed in alphabetical order with much larger diagrams found in many other books. Plus, the diagrams are easy to ready and the beginning of each stitch is numbered so that you can get the general “flow”. You are sure to find a new stitch or two to try on your piece.
